It is during the TK and Kindergarten years that students learn their basic values. If taught that the process of discovering the world through the study of subjects is fun, at this very early age, they will succeed throughout their whole school experience.
TK AND KINDERGARTEN
The early years
Our teachers take advantage of this special time when children are learning the value of friendship to engage the students in fun and interactive learning activities. Students build lifetime friends and enjoy a Christian academic environment where they study the Bible, sing, take walks, etc.
ELEMENTARY SCHOOL
The social era
In order to allow our students to further develop their personal talents, we offer individualized advanced programs, in which students can work ahead of their grade level and accomplish as much as two years of work during one academic year.
MIDDLE SCHOOL
Working ahead
Our curriculum’s corner stone
The Bible tells us that wisdom comes from God, and in His word we gain understanding.
Worship before anything else
We start the school day in the chapel, where students read directly from the bible and unite in prayer and songs of worship.
An advanced Math program
Our Math program gives students the opportunity to graduate 8th grade with Algebra 1 completed.
An advanced Science program
Our Science program allows students to graduate 8th grade with Earth Science completed.
English, the key to all subjects
Our English program focuses on grammar and writing all while using the bible as a foundational source.
Graduation rates
100% graduation rate for students at the 8th grade level moving on to High School.
Online grade access
Grades for daily assignments, and quarterly report cards are available online for parents to access at all times.
Experienced staff
Our school has been in existence for more than 27 years and our staff is experienced in training students with multicultural backgrounds and religions.
Giving back to the society
A big percentage of our students return to our school to work after they complete their studies as volunteers.
Transportation
Transportations costs are not included in the tuition. A small fee ($360 per student) is charged separately each school year. Children coming from the Rancho Cordova, Citrus Heights and Sunrise locations are transported to our school daily. We currently have two routes.
Orchestra
WPCS offers all students the opportunity to learn an orchestral instrument. They can choose between violin, viola, or cello. Students have regular music classes and practice as an orchestra and perform at various events throughout the school year. This program is included in the tuition.
School Choirs
Because singing is such a powerful form of worship, at WPCS, it is a major part of our students’ experience. Students sing every morning during the worship services but on top of that, we have two school choirs. One for the upper grade students and one for the lower grades. These choirs also perform at the various events that occur throughout the year.
